There was once a humble white-tailed deer with the name of Yoshi, who lived in a Temperate Rain Forest in New Zealand. He was nibbling at a pile of dew soaked leaves. Too caught up in his thoughts, she didn’t see the hungry Cougar waiting about 10 feet ahead of him. The brilliant Cougar’s name was Sky and she made a jump for Yoshi. Yoshi attempted to run, but was thunderstruck by a grey wolf. Yoshi was twice as terrified and galloped away. Sky made a dash for Yoshi, and eventually killed the herbivore. He gobbles him up, and feels satisfied. The grey wolf they called Brice was very hungry. He didn’t know why he was so hungry. He remembered the Cougar. “That was my meal.” Said the wolf in a low voice.” “Haha. Maybe next time….Wolf.” Said the Cougar and turned around and walked away. Brice meandered through the forest, hungry. He found a small animal but nothing would satisfy him. He realizes he was getting weak and decided to see the forest doctor, Honey the Bear. Honey examines Brice and tells him his body was slowly getting weaker and dying, due to Tape Worm. Brice only had months to live. Deep in the forest, the kakapo owl parrot named Linda was protecting her babies in a Big-Leaf Maple. She feels so grateful that the tree is so high up, and that the tree does not mind her living and breeding her babies in its canopies of leaves. Linda is protected from invaders and always feels welcome and safe when she comes home to the tree. Along most soil, a beautiful monarch butterfly named Rosalie drinks some sweet juice called nectar from the Indian paintbrush flower. The Indian paintbrush does not mind, she actually enjoys it because she receives a large amount of pollen in return for letting the butterfly enjoy her sweet sticky nectar.
